Agashirinov: Lawyers of the XXI Century Association
|
The Association was founded by Agalar Agashirinov in 1999,
and aims to assist in building civil society in Azerbaijan.
In just one year of its existence, the Association has
been worked on such diverse projects as protection of
conscripts' rights, youth problems, IDPs, and others.
Open Society Institute and COLPI are the main two foundations
which have sponsored these projects. The Association has
established a legal advice center where general public
can receive free legal consultation. In addition, its
members have conducted a regular series of lectures on
law in secondary schools of Baku. |
